ImSpector and its Application Products

The hyperspectral camera (imaging spectroscope) ImSpector is an epoch-making two-dimensional spectroscope that separates light simultaneously into multiple points on a liner area and it easily measures the spectrum at each of the two-dimensional points by scanning the line.

With two-dimensional spectral analysis, the ImSpector provides new opportunities for production sites as well as areas of study.

How the ImSpector Works

With a special prism and grating structure, the hyperspectral camera (plane spectroscope) ImSpector separates light at each point on a linear area into wavelength ranges. It provides an imaging spectroscope that can detect the wavelength distribution in a linear area with a combination of a normal lens and monochrome two-dimensional camera.

It features the prism-grating-prism (PGP) approach that expands and separates linear light that has passed through a slit to provide spectral analysis based on a planar straight-travel optical system.

* You can connect a desired camera according to the intended use and/or the system specifications. Each model can also be optionally connected to a cooled CCD camera, a camera with an image intensifier, high-speed camera, or endoscope.
